ubuntu20.4 kernel

HELLO,Administrator, can I install the kernel that comes with ubuntu20.4? I may not use the multi-path function of iscsi. Will the built-in kernel affect NFS, SAMBA, and object storage? I want to use a new kernel, the kernel version of SUSE is too old, there are some functions of the new kernel that cannot be used

we are also interested in applying a newer kernel.

Is it possible?

Is a newer kernel integration on the roadmap for a future petaSAN release, meaning do you plan to update the kernel in a future release?

Yes, next release PetaSAN 3.2 will use kernel 5.14

we are still in the requirements setting phase, so no estimates yet, check back in approx 2 weeks and i may have some estimates.
