what means this message in dmesg, shall we worry about this? There are many of them.
[230420.523333] iSCSI/iqn.1998-01.com.vmware:host-4d3bf007: Unsupported SCSI Opcode 0x85, sending CHECK_CONDITION.

August 14, 2017, 1:27 pmQuote from therm on August 14, 2017, 1:27 pmI found it myself. Seems to be a bug in Smartd in ESX, see:
https://www.codyhosterman.com/2016/03/recent-esxi-6-storage-bugs-and-the-flasharray/
and
https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2133286
Solution(on ESX):
/etc/init.d/smartd stop
chkconfig smartd off

Dennis
