it is simple to do, but you need to think when you can do that: i would not do this if there are multiple failures on multiple nodes, try to get the cluster healthy in first in case of an running node that needs to be replaced or in case of a down node to fix issues with other nodes so that only the node OSDs and mon are down.
the replacement step is simple: install a setup on new node, use same hostname, management ip/inerface as original node. Then use the Deployment Wizarrd and select "Replace Node", in case you move OSDs from old machine to new machine, they will work automatically, do not re-create new OSDs yourself from them.
