Hello,

Using XCP-NG 8.2.1-20231130

You can see XCP-NG has four network interface, but I just connected one NIC.

During VM configration, I just added the vNIC.

I assigned IP address for this vNIC.

After installation finish, the IP address is 10.0.11.101, this IP cannot be ping  and this is not in our DHCP range.

Thanks

So you entered : 10.0.11.101 but it set itself to 10.0.11.181 ? Can you please re-peat this setup in may be a typo

After installation finish, the IP address is 10.0.11.101, this IP cannot be ping  and this is not in our DHCP range.

Note sure what you mean, the ips you enter in PetaSAN are static ips, why do you expect them to be in DHCP range ?

Hello admin,

I assigned IP address is 10.0.11.181  in PetaSAN. But after instalaltion the IP is 10.0.11.101

Thanks

Outside of PetaSAN, are you able to install any linux vm and assign the same static ip, will it work, would you ping it ? it could be a setup issue of your environment.

Also how did you determine that ip  10.0.11.101 was set instead of  10.0.11.181 ? both screenshots you shared before and after installation show  correct 10.0.11.181.

Have you re-tried installation ? it could be you made typing mustake.

Hello Admin,

I tested in VirtualBox is no problem.

I tested three times in XCP-NG already.

I think PetaSan do not support XCP-NG?

Thanks

We do have many users using XCP-NG + as per earlier:

Hello Admin,

OK now, this is my fault, thanks.
