Just wondering if I a cluster setup already with backend subnet 10.0.0.0/24. I cannot add in another node with the subnet 10.1.0.0/24 for backend. Is it suppose to be like that? I know the frontend can ping the other even on different subnet as long as there is a tunnel. But kept on getting issue with backend not being on the same subnet even with a working tunnel is this typical or do i need to enter through cmd and change some setting before backend can go outside its subnet?

these are 2 different subnets, they would access each other via gateway/router which is not something you want.
it is possible to change sbnets from config files, but it is more complex for backend as ceph and consul servers cannot be changed without additional commands.
