I'm fairly new to PetaSAN, and during my first several restarted attempts at getting my first three nodes setup, I'm getting an error when joining the third node - "Error building cluster, please check detail below.", in a red box, which is slightly larger border at the bottom, almost as if an error was supposed to be displayed there, but isn't. Is there any logs I can look at to see what's happening?
Many thanks in advance.

PetaSAN requires storage disks other than the system disk. So make sure your nodes have at least 2 disks each. if this is not your case let me know and we will look into it more.
The empty error report for this case is wrong and is fixed in v 1.4

It happens that one of the hosts indeed did not have a second drive on one of the nodes - I have it booting from a tiny drive first, and I have yet to actually create the RAID and virtual disk inside HP manager.
I thought I had downloaded the latest version, but I'll check that later on.

Actually v 1.4 is due Aug 15-17 It will also not report an error but will continue with building the cluster. Once the cluster is built, you will have a health error in the dashboard ui and you will need to add disks and create OSDs from the web ui: Node List -> Disk List -> Add OSD
