I have tried to install in a pre-productive enviorment xenserver 7.2. version 1.4. with no sucess, but I menaged to solve that problem by first installing version 1.3. then upgrading to version 1.4.
Now when i use the command „root@node01:/etc/ceph# ceph“ i recive the error „Error initializing cluster client: Error('error calling conf_read_file: error code 22',)“
How can i solve this problem?

If you want to use Ceph cli commands you need to specify the cluster name via adding the parameter --cluster CLUSTER_NAME to most commands
The cluster name is the name you specified when creating the cluster in PetaSAN. We support cluster names so in the future we can support commands/services working on more than 1 cluster such as mirroring of disks across different datacenters.
Strange you could not install v 1.4 from fresh install and had to do this in 2 steps, at least you were able to get it running. If you do have a chance to setup another cluster, i hope your re-try with 1.4 straight and let us know if it is repeatable and we will look into it.
