SSD - Life Span Reporting in GUI

Hi,

It would be nice if we could see the status of the life-span for the ssd's used in the system from the gui.

Yes we are looking into SMART disk monitoring 🙂

WOW that's nice. Any change to have it ready for Petasan 2.1?

Meanwhile... it is OK if we manually install smartmontools (official package from Ubuntu 16.04lts) and make our own monitoring scripts?

Hi There,

I have a compressed file (zip) with our scripts and readme (in MD format). I see no options here to add an attachment.. how can I attach it?

You can store them on a storage service ( dropbox/google drive..) and include the link. And/or email them to contact-us @ petasan.org

This is included in PetaSAN 2.2, we are releasing it today.
