My zetavault runs off of an 8g USB drive. For my first install of Petasan, I got 32g USB drive, and tried to install, and the installer said minimum 64g. That is surprising.
Why does it need so much space ?

Ceph monitors use the system disk, they store all the cluster maps required for correct operation, in a recovery situation, the storage space they use can grow + they require fast disk access. We also use the system disk for stats data storage.
