/opt/petasan/config/cluster_info.json
it is easy to edit. You can also install a virtual environment and install just 1 node and let the wizard create the file for you then you can copy it to your real cluster.

thanks a lot, i understood that it was on that file after... 😉
I don't know i really understood how the Petasan system works ? I have a lot of questions about configurations.... The user guide are very light !
What's Pool and the destination ?
What's EC-profile and the destination ?
What's Buckets Tree ?
etc...
So i'm confused with this product....
What i wanted, it was this :
2 systems NAS ==> become 1 with Petasan ==> for cluster Hyper-V
Petasan :
- 1 iscsi connexion for Hyper-V (to connect to the storage offer by petasan)
- 1 iscsi connexion for the NAS (to get all storages to the Petasan to become 1 cluster storage)
etc...
Is there a guide with all informations we need (like i said before...) ?
thanks Admin

January 31, 2019, 9:29 pmQuote from admin on January 31, 2019, 9:29 pmYou can use the default pool created when you deploy PetaSAN and you will be fine.
Pools provide more control to create different storage areas using different disks, disk types, nodes, racks..The structure of your cluster is defined via the CRUSH Buckets, the rule for data placement is defined via the CRUSH Rule page. EC Pools use erasure coding instead of creating more replicas.
If you need something simple, just use the default created pool 🙂

Alert!
Rule requires device types not available in your cluster.
So, i can't do anything....

I assume you do have added OSDs and the dashboard is showing OSDs as up and the cluster health is OK. If so then try to create a new pool, select replicated, then in the "Rule Name" select "replicated_rule".
If you still have issues, i recommend you re-install, if you still have issues let me know.
