was getting ready for upgrade and this is what I get with Ceph status

Error initializing cluster client: ObjectNotFound('error calling conf_read_file',)

did you run the installer first ? it needs to run first then you start the ceph nautilus steps.

no I did not I was doing health check prior to installation

prior to installation you need the --cluster cluster_name parameter in your commands...after installation you do not
