PetaSAN 2.4 Released!

happy to announce our latest PetaSAN 2.4.0 release 🙂

New Features:
  • Caching framework with current support for write cache using dm-writecache.
  • Support for rolling online upgrades and bug fixing updates. Installer point upgrades will still be supported.
  • Enhanced Deployment Wizard with Prev/Next navigation and Reset buttons.
  • Additional notification plugin to handle general Ceph errors.
  • General UI enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Log rotation.

Please tell me more about wrcache and how to use it with petasan model

It is used the same way a journal disk is used, see scrennshots. It is a disk level cache based on kernel dm-writecache
