Deployment breaks with Jumbo frames

Hi all,

We've installed a lab with 5 nodes. 3 mgmt nodes (without storage) and 2 storage nodes with iscsi. The first 3 nodes have only two nics. If I try to enable jumbo frames (for eth2 and eth3) the installer breaks, because he tries to add this to the management nodes.

IS there a way to use jumbo frames only on the iscsi interfaces?

There is indeed a bug for setting jumbo frames on interfaces not on management nodes. We have a fix, it will be uploaded within 48 hours.

Hi,

Thank you for this quick update!

Is there a way to change it on the running env? Or do I have to reinstall all?

you can change the network setup from the file /opt/petasan/config/cluster_info.json

you will need to restart the nodes.
