There's a lot of different processes in replacing a failed drive, is there any documents on a step by step way to replace a failed drive?
Got a message that osd.9/node-1 has failed.
Went to the server and had a flashing yellow light on the drive and the system status showed a failure on the server.
Running Petasan version 2.3.1
Unable to get a physical disk list from GUI on this node, can on the other nodes.
What is the best way to replace the drive?
Thanks,

I'm there but unable to get a screen, I'm seeing a rotating "star" that does not do anything so unable to select anything. This happens on the node that has the bad disk and when using the interface from other nodes. It will go into the screen if choosing another nodes, just not the node that is down. Can't manage if I can't get to the items to select.
So either I need to get the screen to behave or do this manually.
Appreciate the help.

So I'll just put the new disk in and it should rebuild?

after you physically add the disk, you will use the ui to add it as an OSD.

That's the issue, no UI. How do I add it through CLI?
Question, can I upgrade the Node to 2.6 while we have a bad disk?

You can upgrade to 2.6, we recommend the cluster status is Ok
