partition layout issue

Hi my server has a 200Gb drive for petasan

see the image

why is the root getting only 15Gb and the /opt/petasan/config get teh whole hard drive space.

im running out of space on my root partition.

 

Please advise.

The / should be used by PetaSAN so we design it to use 15 GB. Note we have had requirements to support 64 GB of bootable media so it is small. We have 2 other partitions for Ceph and configuration data. In the past we could reformat the / partition during installations but leave the others, this could also happen in major updates  such as basing on ubuntu 20.04.

if you need space to store custom data it is better to store ot on the other partitions.
