Bonding nics with Petasan

Looking for some direction here,

I am running Petasan 2.7.1 connecting to an ESXI 7 host.  I use the Petasan storage as a Veeam repository for backup purposes and it runs very slowly.  My current setup

2 switches connecting  - Nic 0,2,4 and 6  connected to switch 1  Nic 1,3,5,and 7 connected to switch 2

Dual port 1gb Nic0 and Nic1 bonded (active-backup) for management

Dual port 10gb Nic2 and Nic3 bonded (active-backup) for backend

Dual port 10gb Nic4 and Nic5 bonded (active-backup) for scsi1

Dual port 10gb Nic6 and Nic7 bonded (active-backup) for scsi2

Is the bonding what is screwing me up here?

How fast/slow is the system ? how do you measure it ? what is the configuration: how many hosts, osds, osd type: all flash, pure hdd, ssd journal, write cache ?

how many concurrent veeam backup tasks / jobs at a time ? is veeam running in windows accessing via iSCSI ?
