We have installed and configured PetaSAN version 2.8.0. We're trying to detect iSCSI drives with the Petasan disk using MPIO on IBM AIX LPAR.
Below are the config details of IBM AIX server,
ENVIRONMENT: 7200-05-02-2114
Hostname: CRAREG_DB
Model: IBM,9009-22A
Firmware: VL950_075 (t)
Serial: IBM,067877AA0
Though we were able to scan and detect the iSCSI volume from the Petasan Storage successfully, we were not able to create the File System on AIX server.
What could be the reason?

IBM AIX Operating system installed on P Series Hardware, RISC based process in server's...Need multipath drivers from PetaSAN for AIX Servers..
Is petaSAN Storage is compatible with IBM AIX Operating system on P series RISC based processors server's..??

other thing to try is creating a partition and partition table on the lun before trying to create the file system. iSCSI mounts are practically no different than having a local hard disk in the tower except everything goes over the network. Treat them the same.
